3 BR, 1.1 BTH SINGLE FAMILY HOME

I received a call from Debbie in July after I had listed and sold her neighbors' house. She had listed her home with another Broker unsuccessfully and was impressed by the amount of showings she had seen coming and going next door.  At our initial meeting I learned that John and Debbie had owned their home since 1988 and had taken great care with its upkeep. As much as they loved their home, it was time to make the move to the suburbs to be closer to their children. Together, we set the goal of a move prior to Thanksgiving.

The task of rebranding and reenergizing a formerly listed property is very exciting to me. In most cases, the property needs a boost from a Broker who appreciates it as much as the sellers have, which was the case here. I fell in love so many aspects of the home that the former broker had seen as negatives. Since I do not believe in lockboxes, I was able to accompany each and every showing personally and lend a personal endorsement to the home.  Within 60 days we accepted a contract for over 99% of our asking price! John and Debbie were in their new dream home in Lake in the Hills, Illinois by Halloween—ahead of schedule! Debbie describes working with me:
